WASHINGTON — Film director James Cameron may have another blockbuster on his hands.
Federal officials are hoping Cameron can help them come up with ideas on how to stop the disastrous oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, officials said today.
The “Avatar” and “Titanic” director was among a group of scientists and other experts who met Tuesday with officials from the Environmental Protection Agency and other federal agencies for a brainstorming session on stopping the massive oil leak.
The Canadian-born Cameron is considered an expert on underwater filming and remote vehicle technologies. “Avatar” and “Titanic” are the two highest-grossing films of all time.

Well, I am sure that Cameron is on board with the homosexual agenda, so we can use his er...brilliant ideas.
Just remember that, for a while there, Cameron really was doing real science, running ROVs around the real wreck of the Titanic, and making huge advances in underwater remote systems. I don’t really much like his politics (or his ability to tell stories), but he does have real-world expertise in this particular area, so I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
mind boggling. absolutely mind boggling. Waht about the two farmers on a video that showed a demonstration of water, oil and hay stirred it around like wave movement and the oil stuck to the hay and the water was clear? Why don’t they try that or give Jindal what he needs? Oh yeah Obama...more committees to figure out what went wrong. The rig EXPLODED...THAT’S what went wrong. YOU nor a committee can’t fixt it so move out of the way and let those who know what they are doing get on with it. no MOVIE person is gonna do it. Good Lord, bring the sanity back to this country.
