Expired meds are NOT always better than no meds, and indeed might amount to nothing more than a placebo where people think they are getting the real deal. Pharmaceuticals can and do break down after their expiration date — and some can even lose some of their effectiveness BEFORE the expiration date if it’s close enough. Especially if the medications have been improperly stored, exposed to extreme temps, etc... etc...

Sounds like a scam, frankly... Who donated the money, who purchased the medical supplies, and which “waste” company did they get them from... I’m thinking someone got a nice payday somewhere along the way, and the folks donating think they are actually sending supplies that will help those in Gaza...

Another example is aspirin, which past expiration starts to break down into, I think it’s called, ASCETIC ACID which is not good for humans.
