(Reuters) - The government has launched a criminal probe into BP Plc's (BP.L) massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, Attorney General Eric Holder said on Tuesday.
Federal agencies, including the FBI, are participating in the probe and "if we find evidence of illegal behavior, we will be forceful in our response," Holder told reporters after meeting with state and federal prosecutors in New Orleans.

When in doubt, send in the clowns. Lawyers will succeed in stopping everything. They no nothing and are just looking for evidence of some supposed crime..that will encourage everyone to do their best.
Well this is one way of keeping the public from knowing what happened. I wonder how badly that Holder and Obama will screw this up.

They should be organizing an investigation into the stupidity of the Obama regime. “Criminal”, OK, let’s see them prove criminal intent? They could stop all work and say they wish they could help but due to legal issues involving an criminal investigation they must stop working to recover from the accident and present a vigorous defense of any charges that may be brought.
The government geniuses at work - BP stock in the toilet - no incentive to fix a damn thing.
At this point the only thing that could get any action is throwing the top BP brass in jail...just sayin’..
This is all Obama and his cronies can do is sue and steal. Obama - what have you done to help fix this? Nothing except get in the way.
