The Gaza Freedom Flotilla set sail last week for the Hamas-controlled Gaza region, claiming to be carrying humanitarian aid. Israeli Navy ships requested late Sunday night that the activists change course from Gaza to Ashdod, where they would be able to unload their aid material, which would then be transferred over land to Gaza after undergoing security inspections.

So it is not a myth that they largely control that industry.
So?
Completly and willingly egnoring that Israel was within their rights.

“But isnt godless an oxymoron when discussing a religion?”
Ah! I distinguish between ‘born to a religion’ and being religious - so the notion of ‘Jewish’ is interpreted as being born as one rather than being a practicing one and the distinction becomes clear. Of course, this definition makes almost everyone in America a Christian, which is understandably questionable. The atheists, agnostics and assorted riffraff obviously do not qualify as one irrespective of their religion of birth. Or perhaps I am rambling and you were being merely rhetorical?

Should be a useful riposte to some of the lefties that surround me at work (some of them , lo and behold.... jewish). It would be instructive to delve into the precise legalities though, because I don’t quite why Israel isn’t using this argument more forcefully.
