Al and Tipper Gore share an extended kiss at the 2000 Democratic convention in Los Angeles.

Algore can by a new mansion but won't fix his crooked, rotting teeth.
This is from the same 2000 Los Angeles DNC where Boy Scouts were booed from the stage.
Didn’t the Gores just separate ?
I think that’s why this was posted and rebumped.
yup.
I have long predicted this day would come. The reason? Al Gore is totally GAY!!!
It’s only SLIGHTLY less creepy than the Lisa-Marie/Michael Jackson smooch.
Still ranked pretty high on my lost-lunch-o-meter...
That kiss was cringe making.
I always kinda liked Tipper. Hope she gets a big payoff for staying with that lard body for 40 years.
Marriage failure is a tragedy. Shame on you for making it a subject of mockery. Show some decency, please.
But he wasn’t a lard body his whole life. He actually used to be a very handsome man (although always an a-hole). He started gaining while he was VP and then blew up to whale sized proportions after he lost to Bush.
Still, he’s gay. I’m tellin’ ya. BIG time.
When I spoke with him at the book signing, he had a shiny white dent on his left ring finger, but no ring. Later that summer, he was nominated for veep, the ring was back on, and Tipper was allowing him to fondle her in public.
I seem to recall that Algore got an Oscar for a film titled Inconvenient Truth.
Isn’t divorce quite common among Hollywood-types who get Oscars for their celluloid works of fiction?
I agree with Romulus, marriage failure is a tragedy and should not be mocked. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. Moleman’s ife of 17 years left last year and it was the worst year of my life and so unfair to our kids.
Shame on you if you’re part of the reason some gay people feel compelled by society to marry someone they’re not sexually attracted to and can never be in love with.
Gore did wth Tipper what he did everywhere else along the way: whatever was socially acceptable to remain politically viable -— for both his father and himself. Being an out queer in Tennessee in 1970 wasn’t going to get you elected to Congress. Or today, for that matter.
To all of which I respond: so what.
People who mock unhappy toxic/failed marriages are heartless jerks.
This HAS to be Bush’s fault.
I think it’s safe to assume that the CA home was purchased for her and the kids (well, who aren’t kids anymore).
