Turkish FM: Citizens killed in Israeli raid on Gaza-bound ships.
Turkey's Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that four Turkish citizens are among those that were killed in Monday's Israeli raid on the Gaza-bound aid ship the Mavi Marmara.
Nine aboard the ship, which was part of a larger aid flotilla sent to break Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip, were reportedly killed when Israeli soldiers boarded the ship early Monday.

Oh well....
It’s called collateral damage..
I don’t care where they’re from, and it bothers me little that they’re dead.
Turkey has gone over to the dark side.
It began in earnest in the leadup to Bush’s invasion of Iraq, when the generals promised that they would let us invade Northern Iraq through their territory, until the very last minute, and then refused.
The Generals had decided to play with fire, and played footsie with the Muslim activists who won the election. Now the Generals no longer control the country; the Muslims do.
That has been developing for some time; but Obama’s cowardice and weakness and open antisemitism has accelerated the process. The Turks recognize a Muslim when they see one.
It bothers me that so few of them are dead.
Did they really think that the Israelis weren’t going to shoot back?
The were counting on it.
I seriously wonder how much time is left for the world as we know it today. I’m keeping my eye out for NK. With all this Israel/flotilla items in the news, I’m just waiting on NK to pull a “Look at me!” stunt. Tensions are high as it is, so, it would be something fairly audacious.
I think all this blockade running nonsense would cease if Israel, after intercepting the ships bringing them into Ashdod to unload the cargo and process the passengers, took the ships back out to sea and sank them (preferably as IAF targets). Then we would see how many shipping companies want to charter to the “peace activists” when the loss of the ship is a guaranteed outcome.
And I think if they did this right now, the other two ships would never show up.
That's not entirely true. From the beginning in 2001, Turkey made it clear that they were not willing to allow US troops to stage an invasion of Iraq from Turkish soil. The reason for this was that the US (Bush Sr.) had reneged on our promise to them during the Gulf War in 1991. Basically, we promised Turkey $30 billion in aid in exchange for us using Turkey as a base and launch point for invading Iraq. In 2002, GW Bush acknowledged the sin of his father and honored the earlier agreement. He gave Turkey the $30 billion that was owed.
This act alone went a long way in gaining the trust of the world. And Obama has already trashed that trust before his first year in office was completed.
You mess with the bull....you get the horns...
As fer me, I’m rootin’ fer the Jooz!
AND how are the IDF soldiers who were injured doing?
Thanks.
Israel can never do anything right in the blinded eyes of the world. At least they do have GOD on their side as proven by the Holy Bible-the most proven collection of writings in human history.
That kind sir is a helluva idea!
To me this is subterfuge as Israel gets prepared to goes wheels up against wackmadinanutjob, they need outrage because the world will be relieved.
It is all Irans minions and William Ayers.
IMHO this is also Turkey saying no to a Northern-Fly Route when they go wheels up. Wouldn't suprise me if Obozo is envolved to try to keep Israel in a box.
Do we know if that idiot Cynthia McKinney was among the dead? or even on the ship?

I think it was much more that there was an election and the ISLAMIC PARTY took over. Once that happened they stopped our troops from using Turkey to attack Iraq. Apparently there was already an agreement to allow such a thing because our ships and troops where already on the way.
Does anyone know if these ships were attacked in international waters or Gazan waters or Israeli or what.
