Al-Jazzera: Egypt opening Rafah crossing for humanitarian aid to Gaza

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Tuesday ordered the opening of the Rafah border crossing to allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, the official MENA agency reported.

...not for Israel to do the exact same thing, in the mind of liberals.

The Left and the Islamic world share two things most of all...

• their hatred of Israel, and...

• their love of their god (the Left knows him by the name Lucifer, muslims as Allah).

That’s right, it’s not just Israel who has a blockade, it’s a joint blockade.

You could call it that... but the other choice, allow free access to Gaza by the terrorists, was unacceptable. I just hope they keep their nerve and sink the next boat that tries this.

From what I can tell, the blockade runners are all part of the plan.

Not only has Obama turned his back on Israel by telling the world he stands with the Palis, his agents William Ayers and Jodie Evans were top activists with the flotilla group.

Obama has opened the door to the Israeli hen house to all his brother foxes.

This is no longer a matter IMHO of holding the blockade.

The muslim world now knows Obama has forced America to betray her ally, Israel.

Israel is now alone!

This flotilla was nothing more than a probing of Israel's defense. It will increase steadily as her her enemies all around her nip and bite at her defenses. Then they will attack with full force. And the UN will adopt a resolution stating that Israel deserved it and the middle east can now, now that Israel is dead, know peace.

Anyway, I believe that's their plan.

What took Egypt so long?

If they’re concerned about Gaza, you’d think they would have opened the border years ago.

Obama has finally gotten his message through to the islamic world and their Leftist sympathizers. It was, like many of Obama's messages, a confusing one at first because it had to provide Obama with some plausible deniability. Typical for Obama, he sends out many conflicting signals and then carefully lays the groundwork for his real goal.

But beneath all the confusion, obfuscation, and double-talk, Obama's vision is quite clear. America, under Obama, will not defend Israel!

Ergo, Israel's enemies are gathering and have begun to probe her defenses (the flotilla--which included as organizers Bill Ayers and Jodie Evans--and the opening of the border at Rafah are examples of that).

With America out of the way, the sharks are circling Israel and with their noses they are nudging her, brushing against her with the bodies, nipping with their teeth.

Soon, they will start taking bites.

Greta Berlin of the Free Gaza Movement, which organized the flotilla, said another cargo boat was off the coast of Italy en route to Gaza. A second boat carrying about three dozen passengers is expected to join it, Berlin said. She said the two boats would arrive in the region late this week or early next week. "This initiative is not going to stop," she said from the group's base in Cyprus. "We think eventually Israel will get some kind of common sense. They're going to have to stop the blockade of Gaza, and one of the ways to do this is for us to continue to send the boats."

Or, just maybe "Greta Berlin" needs to get some kind of common sense (or perhaps a little bit of help in that direction)...

All the crazed Lefties always convieniently forget that Egypt is the one ultimately keeping the gazans penned up like animals. If Egypt kept open the rafah crossing, probably all the palanimals would leave the cage.

Egypt is just trying to get the weapons, equipment and food to the terrorists in Gaza via the border crossing instead of by flotilla. Israel will monitor this and they will stop the people and trucks coming from Egypt one way or the other-—either turn them around, confiscate them or fire on them if they don’t stop.
