Well I never said they were smart, but that would have been the preferred outcome. Actually proceeding to the port the Israeli Navy directed them to would have been the ideal outcome.

Personally I think the Israelis should have sunk them in the middle of the night as they were en route. Maybe that will happen to future convoys if any are attempted. The Israelis can certainly point to this incident as justification.

I agree with that. And, based on the situation with North Korea, I'm not sure that the international community would have raised a fuss. Although, come to think of it, the Israelis are Jews, so if they had sunk the boat, I guess the UN would probably have freaked out.
