You know, the most obvious reason I can think of for Obama to have chosen this weekend of all weekends to visit his Chicago home for the first time in 15 months is the start of the Blago trial this Thursday. He was able to meet his Chi-town politicos at various locales without the prying eyes of the press.

Honoring our dead this weekend was not his priority and he got called out on it before the world. It's funny how things work out.

No doubt, his neighborhood was cordoned off. We know he attended dinners at Jarrett’s parents’ (Bowman) and Nesbitts’ homes, but much of his time as been labeled as “laying low.”
