Israel was forced into taking actions that would make it look bad in front of the world. The Palestinians and their allies are trying to shame Israel like Gandhi shammed to British. I think there are a few key differences between Israel and the British. Israel is being forced to defend itself. The British were trying to hold together an Empire with brutality.

If Turkey ups the ante with warships and planes, as they most certainly will, then Israel should and must sink the entire flotilla. They have no other choice. Their problem isn’t in the Mediterranean. Their real problem is in the White House (or on Golf course or the basketball court.) A word from the POTUS (and some behind the scenes arm-twisting) could resolve Israel’s problems. But the POTUS is onboard with the bad guys. As a matter of fact I wouldn’t be surprised if he sent Michelle or some other close allies along with the next flotilla.

Israel, you’re on your own. The only ray of hope you have is that the POTUS will handle his issues with Israel as competently as he handled the Gulf Oil spill and everything else he’s touched since ascending to George W’s chair.

Not a good Idea untill they want to commit suicide!!!
(Do you really want US planes attacking Israel?)
Remeber article 5 Nato treaty (turkey is a member)
“The Parties agree that an armed attack against one or more of them in Europe or North America shall be considered an attack against them all...”

I doubt that Turkey would send in its navy but if it were then Israel would be vastly outclassed at sea. According to Haze Gray and Underway the naval matchup is:

Turkey: 20 frigates, 3 corvettes, 16 submarines, 46 patrol boats

Israel: 4 corvettes, 10 patrol boats, 3 submarines

Israel's strength is in its army and air force, not its navy.
