According to Joe McGinniss, the offer to rent the house next to Sarah Palin's came because the landlord trusted him to respect the former governor's privacy.

yeah, and Rahm Emmanuel told Clinton to offer Sestak a nonpaying advisory position if he dropped out of the Senate race
she is not a public political figure, she is a private citizen
But Hollywood types show that there is private security that can be purchased against stalkers and paparazzi, with limited degree of success
Unfortunately the Palins may need to purchase a home with more privacy and ability to limit access- their lives may depend on it
and SHAME on their “neighbor” whoever she is
Are there any noise restrictions out there on that lake? I’m thinkg Willow Palin should enjoy loud heavy metal music 24/7, or maybe classical music or hymns would be more soothing to the stalker next door
Im gonna bet the “renovations” involved trimming or cutting back vegetation or trees, which would be at her expense, not the Palin’s. In fact any improvements to her property would not be the Palins financial responsibility
There is not much a neighbor can force another neighbor to do in the way of “renovations”
Yeah. Onward Christian Soldiers should do it. :)
Typical leftist(blaming others for their own crap and never taking responsibility for anything):
“By being here, I have learned things, and I’ve gotten an insight into her character, into her ability to incite hatred, that before I only knew about in the abstract.”
Whose to say this creep doesn’t have spy equipment(provided by Friends of Obama) that can pick up conversations in her home? If I were her, I’d move out for the summer or else get scrambling equipment that could make it impossible for him to hear anything.
Yeah, well, that just shows how gullible some folks can be. They obviously were depending on the recommendation of their 'mutual friend', and didn't know anything about McGinniss.
Story just says the landlord was contacted by a 'mutual friend', who suggested McGinniss would be a tenant who would 'respect the Palin's privacy'. Sounds like the landlord was concerned for the Palins, and likely is horrified knowing who is actually in the house, now.
And take lots of pictures of the family being nice to him.
Kill him with kindness. ;o)
I don’t know but he did say he enjoyed seeing his dog relieve himself on her lawn.
That would be totally out of character for the Palins.
Seriously.
Reload is more their character, taking the fight to the stalker.
I predict this is going to turn out very badly for him, and the Palins will come out victorious.

What an ass. Hope Sarah, or someone in the family, got a picture of THAT nasty incident. The WaPo readers certainly don't like that behavior in the pets owned by their own neighbors.
I vote that what this McGinniss did is first-rate creepy. I don’t have time to read all the comments here. Are people saying what he did is cool??
Joe McGinniss
Wow...
Well, unlike Kitty Kelly, we can be reasonably certain that McGinniss has never slept with Palin. And reasonably certain that he'd really like to.
Uhhh....the line is fuzzy, but I would bet that a court would go along with the Public Person identifier.
Thus they might say she has no expectation of privacy. This would then be the trigger for government protection.
Granted, she is not running for anything at the moment. But at one point, not so long ago, it was for Vice President of the United States, and until the financial war started, she was very close.
It's very bad law. Public persons have essentially reduced rights - libel cases become difficult. In Britain, it's just the opposite: the more public you are, the more protections you have.
