Not spawn. Satan himself. The irony in the absolute racist attitude: ‘You’re black, Hispanic, anything but vanilla— you CAN’T be a conservative’ is stunning.
I surprise people on both sides of the divide when they realize where I stand politically. However, conservatives tend to be quietly delighted, while liberals are vocally horrified. Black liberals are absolutely dumbstruck when they find that I'm a conservative who votes Republican.
My own brother has told me to my face that I'm a "traitor" to my race. I once criticized Obama in an email to him, and he replied that it was "racist". I laughed out loud.
