Amen bro
People were not taught the historical truth when I was in school or when Glenn Beck was in school. Now he has the tools and most importantly, the venue to spread it and plant seeds of inspiration for people to learn more.
He's not trying to "take credit" for "discovering" but he does deserve appreciation for his educational programs. He thanks God every day that he is allowed to and so do I. Can't you see how excited he about his continuing walk on the road to enlightenment? Have you contacted him about your disgruntlement? Perhaps he will do a follow-up show.
Bump for Reference
Not everyone is on the same level as you. Hannity speaks to those who are "conservative" but perhaps not as rigidly Right as you or I. Some people need to have things repeated and essentially pounded into their heads. He does that well. He is a good, moral, generous and dedicated man who is doing his best to give voice to those who aren't political or history junkies but are interested enough to desire more information because it affects them and their families.
I wish people would quit it with the terms like "intellectual backwardness" when it comes to describing Sean Hannity. It makes them no better than the "intellectual elite" know-it-alls. Those people find Hannity's audience beneath them because it is comprised primarily of white-bread Americans, yet they certainly couldn't do what he does every day.
Caught only a small part of Beck’s show. I wonder how many here know who Crispus Attucks was (or if Beck mentioned him). I’ve known that fact for a few decades since Oscar Robertson attended Crispus Attucks High School in Indiana. It was such an unusual name that I researched it at some point and learned that Attucks was the first person killed in the Boston Massacre in 1770.
Does anyone remember the movie “Glory”. It was about a black regiment during the Civil War. I thought it was an excellent movie and was a portrayal of the Civil War I had never seen on film. Well, from the criticism that arose, you would have thought this film was on par with Birth of a Nation. I remember Spike Lee, specifically, along with other activists complaining because the movie focused on the letters of correspondence from the commander of the black troops, i.e. (white mans story). The other complaint was that the movie didn’t have input from the black community. Instead of absorbing the rich history that these men experienced in this wonderful movie, the leftys tried to villify the director and downplay the whole story with stupid controversy.
So, as they say; Same Sh_t, Different Day.
ooh. That's a lot of bitterness you're spitting out, ETL. Yes, you and others have been trying to warn people for years, but you weren't heard or noticed. There was really no ignition, no reason, to look into Black Liberation Theology until it was learned that Barack Obama was listening to that radical preacher, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Don't feel bad about your warnings not being noticed for years; David Horowitz could say the same thing. It took an event like the Presidential campaign to call it to most of America's attention. Sean Hannity could have ignored it like the rest of the media but he didn't. Aren't you even the slightest bit appreciative that the truth is coming out? Why waste your time being angry and bitter since that does no one any good and makes you unapproachable on the subject. Keep on keeping on and I'm right there with you.
The show was great, but Glenn wastes soooo much time. In his long first segment (too long) he thinks he has all kinds of time, and wastes it. Then in the short (too short) segments at the end of the show he has to try and squeeze things in. Yesterday's show was a perfect example of this. Also, when you have guests on, LET THEM TALK. Glenn relating history that he admits on air that he was fuzzy on and didn't review before the show, babbles on & on unsure of his facts, when he has two EXPERTS sitting right there.
I love Glenn, I just think his work is so important, that I hate to see him waste time. I just want him to be better at it.

I thought it was a good show. And that it was pointed out that a lot
of this history simply got “deleted” in a lot of history books.
I do appreciate Barton’s use of footnotes/citations in his research,
as well as actually possessing many original documents/books.
Drives the liberals crazy when he can quote “line and verse” from
historical figures in direct contradiction of what the liberals
wish history was.
KGB/ communist training camps involved with the American weathermen like bill ayers back in the late 60's just makes me sick. Who knew?
The commies always said they would get us from within and LEAVE IT TO THE LIBERALS to PROVIDE THEM WITH THEIR WISH.
Just damn.
So black liberation is really black COMMUNISM. PATHETIC. And the liberals have fed this? Oh man. So sad.
And like so many things in today's society, the MSM has for decades refused to present the left, or liberation theology to the public because they supported it, or were a part of it. As the left was worming its way into all the entertainment industry and our school curricula and textbooks, there were voices pointing this out, but those voices were being ignored by the MSM just as those talking about black liberation theology were being ignored.
Until Rush came along, and others he paved the way for, there were no conservatives who had a large enough audience to make any difference. The MSM decided what most Americans heard, or didn't hear. Now that there are a handful of conservatives with large audiences, things that have been ignored for years are now being discussed more widely. - And that applies to a vast array of subjects, not just the political left and liberation theology.
Another controversial subject: Elvis Presley, more than anyone else, introduced most Americans to black music. He opened the door and most Americans started listening to Otis Redding and Wilson Pickett and Little Richard, and the very long list of black entertainers who became household names soon after Elvis became popular. - The talk radio personalities with the largest audiences have been doing something similar for all sorts of conservative voices that had been ignored by the MSM over the years.
You put that so well, I will just step back up on the porch and merely applaud.
Dittos
Thank you, sir!
Appreciate it.
“This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
You are so wrong it defies description but here goes....
The Purpose of Beck’s show on the Black Founding fathers wasn’t to discover them anew but rather to show how one man Woodrow Wilson used the power of the Presidency to destroy that part of history and hide it from the public.
It was the summation of a week’s worth of pointing out how Wilson determined what we know to today as “truth” through clever propaganda that Gobbels and the Nazis could barely emulate and how democrats today still follow Wilson’s template for mind control over the masses.
The mainstream media is for the most part completely sold out to spreading the progressive/liberal message, to the exclusion of truth, usually.
It is no error of forgetfullness which has excluded the truth of our founders, which has excluded the exquisite relevence of black MEN in our entire History. Johnson was a school teacher by trade. His 'Great Society' aimed to firmly enslave minorities under federal handouts, and that required squelching the truth of black involvement in our founding and our nation's painful historic episodes (like reconstruction).
One seldom acknowledged effect of Glenn's exposing these bastards is that when people like me see an articlae like the one heading this thread, my suspicion antennae go up, because rather than seeking to add to the exposing of truth and join in the battles now showing progress against a persistent enemy within, the author displays jealousy and petulence. The author could obvious add a tremendous amount to the common goal, but will he? Sometimes I wonder if compalining becomes like a drug, and a healthy step away from the complaint box is not even considered.
I forgot to add that I believe Johnson’s party had an evil goal in directing the ‘racial equality’ violent orgs growth, like the Black Panthers. Think about it: if tension between the races could not be maintained, exploiting the minorities dependent upon government dole would not be nearly as effective in block voting for democrats, because thinking humans usually get around to seeing the real actions and goals of those ‘handing out the candy’ at election time. The democrat party has had as its second highest goal the exploitation of minority unrest, in order to serve the primary goal of the democrta party, absolutel power, oligarchical power, to the exclusion of a We The People Constitutional Republic. If the races are not kept in disarray, the ‘We’ might actually exert their sovereignty over the oligarchs.
