Shortly before 2 PM CDT, CNNs Ed Henry cited a dismissive remark President Barack Obama made during his visit to Louisiana which could undermine his I feel your pain message, but, Henry observed live from a beach in Grand Isle:
If George W. Bush had made a comment like that along the beach after Katrina, you can imagine the kind of criticism he might get.
Henry recounted how a little earlier a New York Times reporter displaying some surprising pushback against environmentalist exaggeration pointed out to Obama how there are tar balls 'even when there's not an oil spill,' so: 'How do we know this is from the oil spill and not just tar that's washed up? I've even seen it,' the reporter said, 'it's even popped up in my bathing suit.'

Are people starting to wake up? Could it be?
If you guys want to get a little bit closer and get dirty you can see these little balls , Obama told reporters traveling with him
Larry Sinclair showed obama his oily little balls once.
No he din’t!
Yes, I think some liberals whose head aren't lost in a cloud of marijuana smoke or brains fried on crack are having a Wizard of Oz moment. Little Todo has pulled back the curtain and the Wizard is just a stupid little man putting on a big show.
the President made a little joke, saying ‘I want to hear a little bit more about that tar in your bathing suit, maybe we’ll hear about that sometime.’
The president fantasizes about the tar balls in a male reporter’s speedo ???
Reggie Love is going to be soooo jealous.
The man is not up to the stature to hold the office that he does. The whole world knows it too. In a few minutes you are going to start to see a defection to Hillary in an effort to save themselves. But it will all be for naught.
The econonmy in the second half is going to crush the life out of the liberals.
I have that problem, too. It's all those girls in bikinis at the beach.
Criticism? George Bush was not just criticized. Motion pictures were made about him. Michael Moore made a movie based on the fact that George Bush continued reading to schoolchildren for a few minutes after he was told about the planes crashing into the World Trade Center on 9/11/01.
My husband’s uber-Liberal Welsh relatives are appalled at Zero. They wanted Hillary! for our country and still support her. I’m hoping that America wakes up enough to shun Democrats for a couple of decades. After Carter, Republicans held the WH for 12 years. This time the Republicans had better work for us instead of themselves!
I think that's pretty funny, and a bit out of character for the sanctimonious asshole.
>> George Bush was not just criticized. Motion pictures were made about him. ...
History has a way of fixing that imbalance.
