ppearing on the Alex Jones radio show May 26th discussing a variety of issues, Congressman Ron Paul said that he 'had some reservations' about Arizona's new immigration law, SB 1070. 'I have some reservations about that law, but not its' intent', remarked the former presidential candidate and libertarian icon, whose son Rand Paul just won the Republican primary race for U.S. Senate in Kentucky.
Paul is not the first conservative libertarian to voice concerns about the law.

Any hear the show?
What are Paul’s reservations?
Excellent! :-)
No reservations about its intent, but smart enough to realize it’s not perfect implementation.
Has he read it?
If not I don’t care what he thinks.
Does he also have reservations about the federal law, which the AZ law mirrors?
RuPaul will sound intelligent and then, BAM! out comes his crazy uncle routine.
He is sounding like RINO.
Actually, it’s a crazy father routine.
You have to link to the article to then link to the radio show’s link.
Simply put, Ronald Paul has “privacy” concerns.
“The hero” finds fault with Arizona’s law!
*crickets*
“I have some reservations about that law”
More people have reservations about kooks.
No big surprise here...he has no credibility and there is absolutely nothing in this bill that goes overboard...as amended it’s actually weaker than the Federal illegal law.
No - he sounds like the Libertarian he is: open borders and legal drugs.
Ron Paul, the Neo leftist never disappoints.
Libertarians are all or nothings. The DSM IV would
diagnosis Libertarians as for starters with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
I know the Libertarians are OK with drugs for all, but I didn’t know they were for open borders too.
Given all the rantings about every other politician that are heaped onto them by the hero worshippers of Ron Paul, I find this admission by RP hilarious.
Again,
*crickets*
I guess they can’t find this thread....
the few libertarians that i know are all against the law out right... no reservations at all...
3.4 Free Trade and Migration We support the removal of governmental impediments to free trade. Political freedom and escape from tyranny demand that individuals not be unreasonably constrained by government in the crossing of political boundaries. Economic freedom demands the unrestricted movement of human as well as financial capital across national borders. However, we support control over the entry into our country of foreign nationals who pose a threat to security, health or property.National Platform of the Libertarian Party
“I know the Libertarians are OK with drugs for all, but I didnt know they were for open borders too.”
Same here - they always make the case for putting a giant, protective, dome around the country (figuratively) - by pulling us out of engagements in the rest of the world, and then STAUNCHLY DEFENDING our borders (obviously, what happened to the United States between 1941 and 1945 wasn’t taught where these people went to high school).
So it also surprises me that he’s voice ANY concerns with the law. It’s almost like the Libertarians are a wing of the Democratic Party these days.
The tin foil hat slipped over their eyes.
Kind of a squishy policy. McCain would like it.
