Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Kathryn Rogers, next week in an intimate ceremony at his beachfront home in Palm Beach, Fla.
Limbaugh, 59, met 33-year-old Rogers, a direct descendant of Founding Father John Adams, in 2004 when she ran a golf tournament/charity fundraiser and Limbaugh was a celebrity guest, Jose Lambiet reports in his column in the Palm Beach Post.
At the time, Limbaugh was getting divorced from third wife Marta. That split was finalized later that year, and Limbaugh and Rogers were an item by the summer of 2007.

My Father was married 3 times. I think that some people are more in love with the idea of being married, than actually being married. I hope this marriage works out for Rush, but something tells me, Rush is really the most happy when he is single. Just my 2 cents worth

OK,pal...try and call *me* a troll.Check out my 20,000+ posts over almost 6 years and call me a troll.If Rush wanted normal companionship he'd have an age-appropriate girlfriend...not one who's *HALF* his age.I love Rush...but except for about $5 million of his wealth I wouldn't trade places with him (private life-wise) in a million years.

My advice would be “keep dating”. Rush already has three strikes, he’d be out already. Guys like him are at the top of their game when they aren’t married, IMO. Focused on what they are doing, what they are driven to do. Without worrying someone else will be feeling neglected, miffed that plans change suddenly, a certain loss of freedom when the “I” becomes “we”, 24/7, 365 days a year.
Hey.. if life gives you lemons, return them and demand only the best!

IMO, once a woman hits her 30s, it’s impossible - read IMPOSSIBLE - for her to marry a guy who looks too old for her (unless the guy is in his 70s or 80s).
For example, what if this woman was a meth addict all throughout the 90s and was really 34, but looked 48? God knows there are plenty of those types running around.
Would it be ok then? Because, I mean, visually she would appear to be not that far off from Rush’s age, if that were the case.
I don’t have a problem with Rush with a younger gal, I am assuming part of the reason is to have a wife that can more safely have kids, at least this time I think it might have been a factor.
And don't discount a rug-rat in the future....someone to keep the Adams/Limbaugh patriot bloodlines alive.

Rush is a great political commentator, and I’m sure this 30 something is a nice lady.
However, much more against it than supporting it.

yeah. I’d been wondering when Rush is gonna get around to lengthening his bloodline. A great bloodline indeed. God knows the next generation or 2 will need a Limbaugh.
