Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Kathryn Rogers, next week in an intimate ceremony at his beachfront home in Palm Beach, Fla.

Limbaugh, 59, met 33-year-old Rogers, a direct descendant of Founding Father John Adams, in 2004 when she ran a golf tournament/charity fundraiser and Limbaugh was a celebrity guest, Jose Lambiet reports in his column in the Palm Beach Post.

At the time, Limbaugh was getting divorced from third wife Marta. That split was finalized later that year, and Limbaugh and Rogers were an item by the summer of 2007.

There may be a little Rush soon? bald, chubby cheeks and looks just like his daddy. She won’t ever have to squeeze pennies but she will have ALOT to squeeze.

Don’t knock it until I’ve tried it? I”m not looking for a replacement husband, nor to look foolish by finding true love with someone young enough to be my child. Of course I don’t have the kind of money that buys that sort of devotion either.

All of you naysayers and tongue-waggers, just shut up.

Wish the couple well. They deserve it.

I am both appalled and amazed at the cynicism.

Once two people are legal age, what they do is up to them. Makes no difference to ME whether he is 60 and she is 20, or she is 60 and HE is 20.

It is THEIR life, not mine.

As for dumb asses like Franken, he exemplifies the concept of liberalism as it relates to morality or values.

Liberals have no moral standards, everything is relative, everything is valid. That way, when they fail to meet any standards, nobody can call them a hypocrite, because God knows, to a Liberal, that is the worst thing on earth.

Ever notice how much they use that as a pejorative?

Conservatives make mistakes, but they at least “try” to do better. Liberals just say “Why try? It is going to fail, so we might as well make people comfortable in their failure.”

They take that approach with teen sex, drug addiction, abortion, etc.

So I wish him all the best. Hope it works out for him, and for her.

You don’t think the divorces had more to do with his lifestyle and schedule than the way he “treated” women, do you?

Isn’t that possible that those things played a large role rather than is inability to “treat a woman”? I have a suspicion that in his last marriages, Rush did not change much. I am willing to bet that Rush was pretty much the person he has always been through each one, and his wife was the one who changed.

Either she felt like she was being ignored, or that her role or place in his life was less important than his work, things like that.

More than likely, it is not he that doesn’t have his eyes open, more likely his previous wives had a different expectation of what life with Rush Limbaugh was going to be like.

That is my opinion.

I have heard nearly that exact same comment applied to every man who married a woman...;)

That is my opinion.

Here is Rush's:

"If you want a successful marriage, let your husband do what he wants to do"

"...a lot of babies look like Rush. The chubby cheeks, little buddha bellies and bald heads..."

ROTFLMAO!

I doubt I will be able to remove from my mind the image of a crowd of babies in a nursery each adorned with Rush's visage...

If you treat a women right, she will not feel ignored or less important than your work.

Well heck. One of the reasons I adore my wife is she lets me be who I am, and doesn’t try to change me. (well, okay...SOMETIMES she does...:)

But she knows, sometimes I have to lay in the hammock. Sometimes I have to drink alcohol and get a buzz on. Sometimes I have to take the whole day and go to a football game, or a weekend to go somewhere with the guys.

She knows that sometimes a guy just needs to be alone, without talking, and the lack of interaction isn’t an insult to her.

With someone like Rush, a woman would have to share him and his time with a lot of people. A lot of spouses of both sexes have difficulty with that.

Well, that depends on your definition of “treating right”. That is rather broad. Not every person, male or female, can function in the type of lifestyle Rush has to live.

If they go to a social function, by nature, he is probably going to be able to spend little time with her. Not everyone, even a well adjusted, self confident person can deal with that effortlessly all the time, I would imagine it stresses a relationship.
