"When you burn your currency, you promote inflation and you enrage your citizens," says McCullough.

He says that Ben Bernanke will soon be voted out for his excess borrowing policies and failure to deliver on promises to cut the Fed's balance sheet.

Ben Bernanke will simply retire and we will be stuck with his decisions. Some of these guys need to do jail time.

I remember an old cartoon where a steamboat ran out of fuel, so the crew started to feed the bridge, decks, etc. to the furnace, until all that was left was the engine and hull struggling upstream - and there was nothing left to burn.

The similarity is striking.

Bernanke will be fired because there’s no way this could be an elected politician’s fault.

He says that Ben Bernanke will soon be voted outtried for treason, stood before a wall, and shot for his excess borrowing policies and failure to deliver on promises to cut the Fed's balance sheet.

What the sentence would say if there was any justice in the world.

Bernanke? Well, okay for starters, but Obama, Geithner, Soros, Dodd, Frank etc....need to go to the big house too.

Sadly a few idiots here love the Fed and do not want it shut down. Ron Paul is right on the fed. The idiots prefer supporting Obama’s TV network as long as they can watch college ball on TV.

That is exactly the case. U.S. is being stripped to the bare hull to get the engine(bubble) going.

Some of the 30's and 40's cartoons were worth watching... thanks for sharing.
