Heysus Chris people! There are hundreds of oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico, and thousands around the World. There have been numerous oil spills around on the planet, and yet the Planet survives. So far, this isn't even the biggest one. The Planet heals itself. Am I the only one who has noticed this throughout the years?

With so many wells, especially in deep waters (bad move), it was destined to happen. So what? They will plug it eventually, clean up will progress, and some stupid birds and marsh amphibians will die. So What? They die every frigging day. More species are extinct today than have ever existed. So what? The World keeps turning and adapts.

Back to Mother Nature, Iceland's most nasty volcano, Katla, is looking like it is ready to erupt. The last time that volcano with off, it contributed to the Dark Ages in Europe. The planet and mankind will deal with the oil spill, we always do. However, mankind will powerless if and when Katla in Iceland blows up (will be fun to watch Telabama say how he will fix it).

The World will be covered in ash for possibly (2) years or more. Katla will drawrf St.Hellens and Mt. Pinatubo. It could possibly shut out the Sun light for a couple of years and and kill crops, not to mention shutting down air travel indefinitely. It will cause a world-wide economical mess that will take years and years to recover from.

Yet, we're so scared of the fallacy of global warming, while new reports are coming out that we may be heading into a natural new mini ice-age. If Katla goes off, that will be assured. The above is from the natural state of this globe in space and its direct correlation to the Sun and its cycles.

Oils spills are the least of Earth's problems. They've been going on forever. As a 1960's surfer, I clearly remember the tar on the sands of Hermosa and Manhattan Beaches in the SouthBay of Los Angeles. It's a natural condition of the geology and the Earth. Oil seeps up and forms tar on the beaches. A natural occurrence on this rock. So what?

However, if Katla blows, we are going to see devastation on a planetary scale that is incomprehensible. The flow of oil out of one broken drilling platform of the hundreds in the world that have not leaked will be inconsequintial. I kid you not.

Here's another pitiful human forecast for you: Since Katrina in 2005, the NOAA has been predicting even worst hurricanes every year after. They failed to appear. That's an irrefutable fact.

I personally believe the climate and weather scientists are full of shit. It was supposed to be in the mid-70's today where I live, but was mid-60's. Shesh, and these people profess to know what the climate is going to be 10-20-50 years out? A fifth grader knows better.

However, think broken clock...it could be a nasty year, but not because of their inexact science, but only because of the odds of what Planet Earth will do.

Still, our marxists in DC are going to shove "Cap and Tax" down our throats because they say the debate is over.

I swear, I'm getting ready to harshly march on DC. And I'm not talking about waving a sign anymore. I'm talking about civil disobedience. I tried to talk some TEA Party folks into chaining themselves together, and I would pay their bail and fines up to 20 people, but got sh*t for suggesting such. Now what do you say? Sorry, got off track.

It isn't even close. The Ixtoc spill in 1980 dumped as much as 430 million gallons into the same Gulf of Mexico.

Saddam Hussein dumped 400 million gallons into the Persian Gulf in 1990. Seven years prior to that, another 130 million gallons were spilled in the Persian Gulf in the Nuwruz disaster.

Both Gulfs survived.

By the way, there are tens of thousands of wells in the Gulf of Mexico and hundreds of thousands around the world.
