Being the father of two girls, I also find the use of the ‘S’ word for girls.

Its interesting the logic even very smart people use. My father had set up a scholarship for kids from his old high school, and was not happy to see one of them went to a girl that was pregnant, and had even considered stopping it over the issue. He was very happy with the next years winner.

He was a bit shocked when I suggested this years winner may have been the father of the child (hey, it takes two to tango). I think it had totaly escaped him that the young men who were applying may have had parental responsibilities he was unaware of.

There is definitly a double standard out there.
I don’t think males would have been called sluts for messing up a room.

Sometimes I get carried away with myself. I so hate double standards. I had to fight to get where I am and to deal with what I call neanderthals ....I've a great opportunity now and work with class act people of both sexes. And yeah, you've not been to a party unless it's an outback party (the bush as it's really called) ...
