Text messages have been posted--that a political blogger says proves he was forced to reveal a relationship with Nikki Haley. He also says, the Haley campaign told him to "Deny" the story if it broke. In the end, he broke it first.
Will Folks says one of the texts he released on his site--is from him to Haley--a week before this broke. Contradicting her claim she didn't know about it.
Also part of the texting ring--Haley's campaign manager Tim Pearson--and political consultant Wes Donehue.
Wednesday, Folks posted on his website--not the evidence to prove a physical relationship with Gubernatorial candidate Haley. But text messages he says show others were pushing for the story to get published. So, he says, he had to break it first.
The messages between Haley campaign manager Pearson and Folks, center much on who may break the story first, and when, and how to stop it.
One of the most telling texts reads:
Pearson: "I'm telling you man, we keep this under wraps and NH is going to win."
The third party in the texts--and he appears often--is political consultant Wes Donehue.
Folks insinuates Donehue knows too much and is pushing the story. Some heated exchanges between Folks and Donehue ensue.

I'm calling BS. Why couldn't he say "she?" This is her own campaign manager, and he's using her initials?
Y’know I read about this tale and all I see in my mind’s eye is some dweeby guy jumping up and down, waving his arms and yelling, “Look at me! Look at me!”
Contrary to what Folks claims, these messages do not prove a thing. The other candidates should denounce these sleazy attacks on Nikki Haley.
This is what is called a BFC in sales: A Big Fat Claim.
It’s very effective, IF YOU CAN BACK IT UP.
But it begs the question: What is Folks selling, exactly?
His blog, his integrity?
His 15 minutes of fame?
The whole thing is like listening to a teenager explain something when they are lying. It just doesn’t add up.
He’s like that guy in the runaway Prius, only even more transparent.
Yeah, he’s milking it for all it’s worth.
