To: hoosierboy
The surname Marnocha is found mostly in Deutschland, Northern Indiana and Milwaukee.

It seems to be a German surname. Remember the comic strip "Hoosier Day Shift"? Sometimes a German character would wear a fez. Same with The Captain and the Kids. The Captain always wore a fez.

Although better known as a Turkish custom, the fez had its aficionados in the Midwest and along the Rhine.
