White house's Sestak bid
NY Post ^ | May 25, 2010 | Editorial

So, when will the Obama White House come clean about Rep. Joe Sestak?

The Pennsylvania Senate nominee has charged for months that the White House "offered [him] a job" -- reportedly secretary of the Navy -- to abandon his primary challenge to Republican-turned-Democratic Sen. Arlen Specter.

But Sestak stayed in and last week defeated Specter. Then, on "Meet The Press" Sunday, he reiterated the claim.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs and special adviser David Axelrod both say the matter has been "looked into" and nothing "inappropriate" occurred.

Sure they'd say that. Otherwise, they could be facing criminal charges.

At least three federal statutes make it a crime to "promise," "solicit" or "receive" something of value in exchange for the "promise of support or use of influence" in attaining appointed or elected office.

State or federal employees using their "official authority for the purpose of interfering with, or affecting, the nomination or the election of any candidate" face up to a year behind bars.

Even if Joe gets elected in November...he’ll be under a cloud for the next six years and have to worry about someone figuring out this whole mess.

Never. I’ll even bet that the MSM hasn’t mentioned the story at all. If Toomey wants to win, he will have to plaster the airwaves with ads that remind people of this.

Watched Fox & FRiends this morning.

The "I" word is now getting tossed around.

Morris said last night if he was offered a job to get out of the race it is impeachable.

Any cabinet position would have to have come from Rahm and that offer could not even be offered without the presidents knowledge and permission.

Sadly again, as with all other issues involving Hussein Obama, the State-run media WILL NOT give this story legs.
A week from now, this will be nothing but “OLD NEWS” to the
minions in the State-run media. There attitude is, and will be, “Move on - nothing to see here”. It is so freakin’ sad.

Fox and FRiends showed some clips from interviews from other networds of Sestak, They have asked him the question and created a story now.

Someone is lying. Let's see if they smell the blood in the water.

I don't know Mr

This has the makings for a Pulizer for any enterprising journalist.

Sastak will be running their entire summer and fall, with a cloud hanging over his head.

I hear The One is granting a news conference on Thursday. Lets see if any of the reporters have the guts to ask him about it.

IMPEACH Obama Now and than ask Questions Later. Is that a better way of handling it.

At some point this comes back on Sestak as he has knowledge of a crime and must report it. The next question for Joe should be “to whom have you reported this crime?”

I just saw a clip where he was on CNN and was asked about it,he was also asked about it on one of the Sunday shows. They must have told him to keep his yap shut or there would be no $$$. Otherwise he could win some points on being honest about what happened.

Well, as I see it, if he is asked, they will graciously accept the answer as fact, and “that will be that”. The media that we have is only interested in one thing —
covering Hussein Obama’s ass!!

This is an impeachable offense.

You didn’t really believe Obama wasn’t involved in selling his seat in Chicago, didja?

BINGO, because the republicans are too interested in playing nicey nicey and for some reason can’t figure out that it doesn’t work when you are dealing with thugs.
