There has been a terrible development in the case of Rifqa Bary. According to Rifqa, she has been diagnosed with advanced uterine cancer
I ask all Atlas readers to put Rifqa in their prayers.
While this is a tragedy, how she is being victimized by her lawyers and her parents is an atrocity. Her lawyers kept her in the dark about her condition cancer for well over a week, while they conferred with her parents and their CAIR appointed lawyers about her treatment. While most cases like this result in a hysterectomy, she is only having the advanced malignancy removed. From what I understand, the survival rate in cases like these is 5%.
Was she allowed to get a second opinion? No.
While she was lying ill, her lawyers brought her parents to her hospital bed. She was strapped down for treatment and became very agitated and upset, and they had to removed. She has broken her silence, a silence mandated by her lawyers, that she could not talk to her friends such as Jamal Jivanjee and those of us who have been unwavering in our support for Rifqa Barys civil rights and religious liberty.
Now she is scared. Her entire legal strategy was directed at keeping her safe and securing her immigration status, and here we are at the end of May and she has no immigration status. Upon her birthday in August 2010, she will be an illegal alien, in need of serious chemotherapy and cancer treatment. This is a horror.
Why are her parents still making the decisions for her?
Christian convert runaway Rifqa Bary can stay in Ohio foster care
January 20, 2010|By Rene Stutzman, Orlando Sentinel
The parents of Fathima Rifqa Bary â the Muslim teenager who gave her life to Jesus and then fled to Orlando â have given up their fight to get back their daughter.
In a court in Columbus, Ohio, they agreed Tuesday to let Rifqa, 17, live in an Ohio foster home until she reaches 18 years old in August. After that, she’ll be an adult and will be free to do whatever she wants.
That agreement ended an ugly, often-public six-month ordeal for the girl and her parents.
I THINK she’s over 18 now, but I may be wrong.
Ah...10 seconds before I post, you get your answer.
18 in August.
I found a site:
I don’t know who maintains it, but there is nothing posted since Apr 13 and nothing about her illness.
She couldn’t qualify for asylum like Barry’s aunt?
I’m a bit suspicious of this. There are no links, attributions or quotes. Where’s the link to the source?

About 2 weeks ago I was out clearing brush when all of a sudden, out of the blue, Rifqu Bary’s name popped into my head. I had not heard anything about her in several months.
Sometimes this is how God lays someone on my heart to pray for, and so I did - for a couple of days pretty regularly, without a clue as to why.
Now that I know why God put her on my heart to pray for, I’ll keep those prayers up.
This sort of ‘coincidence” might freak a new Christian out - but I’ve gotten used to it long ago, Praise Yeshua.
There can be no doubt that this young lady is still intimately close to the Master’s heart, and in no way will she be forgotten or overlooked.
“Not a sparrow falls” - and precious Sister Rifqa is of much greater worth than a flock of sparrows!
May the power of the Divine be mightily demonstrated in this case, and may G-d be glorified in the process.
bttt
In case you hadn’t noticed, most of what’s posted on FR about Rifqa Bary is improbable and unconfirmed . . .
I’m sure they made sure she was just sick enough to require sterilization..., er, I mean, removal of just the “malignant” parts. They wouldn’t want her eventually delivering to a Christian husband a rightful child of Mohammed, now would they?
I'm in agreement with your prayer. The church I attend is becoming Cancer-free. Many believers have been healed of all types of cancer in all stages.
Nothing is impossible for the Great Physician.
Sterilization would be the appropriate treatment for advanced uterine cancer - hysterectomy is the appropriate treatment. Which is why this article is highly suspect.
I’ve been noticing that more and more in a lot of areas of FR lately, unfortunately.
She is an adult now isnt she?
No, she's not an adult now, and that's why she's been in this hassle with her parents, with her saying that her dad was going to kill here (but she was a minor when she left).
And also, she's an illegal immigrant, too... so it's problems all the way around ...
She'll be 18 a bit later this year, though. The problem is that she can be deported, too -- and that would put her in greater danger of being killed by Muslims "back home" ...
that’s a chilling thought
Rifqa ping with tragic news. Our sweet Rifqa may be dying. The world is not worthy of her. (Hebrews 11:38)
Jamal Jivanjee’s fb post:
Perhaps the same Dr. who diagnosed the Lockerbie bomber.
Said he had 6 months & he’s still alive.
I saw an image of Rifca Bary on my toast this morning!
Go away!
