Support for repeal of the new national health care plan has jumped to its highest level ever. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 63% of U.S. voters now favor repeal of the plan passed by congressional Democrats and signed into law by President Obama in March.

Even more amazing is that so many found out, because the enemedia sure hasnt been helping much.

I'll venture a guess that millions of people have found out they will lose their employer-sponsored health insurance thanks to RATcare. And the blogosphere has also helped get the word out about all the lies and trickery that went into passing this fraud.

Many Dems are now realizing that Obama (who thought he was joking when he said it a year ago) was right on the money when he said they were at a Thelma and Louise moment. They drove with him right off the cliff foolishly expecting a miraculous soft landing in which joyful voters would catch them in their arms and parade them like heroes on their shoulders for having passed such a “historic” bill.

At best, voters will let them hit the ground without lifting a finger to mitigate the consequences. At worst, voters will seize pitchforks to go after any who survive the crash. Yes, I am deeply ashamed of myself for the pleasure I anticipate feeling at watching this spectacle next November...but in the grand schemes of things, was any crew other than perhaps the regimes of Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot or Saddam Hussein more deserving of such punishment?

You got that right. There are pages and pages of laws and rules about the care of laboratory animals. No committees to ration care. You experiment with animals, you must provide the care specified by law.

Dunno. I'm guessing that the D plan is to wait until after the fall elections. The window between November and January will be maximum damage time, but how much harm can they do in two months??
