DENVER - Sarah Palin came to Denver and told a big crowd Saturday night, "America... we got snookered."
About 6,000 fans of Sarah Palin packed into the University of Denver's Magness Arena to hear from the former Alaska Governor and would-be Vice-President, as she brought her "Take Back America" road show to Denver.
Outside the arena, protesters with signs chanted, "We support our President." One person passing by the protesters before going inside to hear Palin speak asked, "I want to know what you support?"

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president. — Author Unknown

After her obligatory 2-stop weekend visit to Juan a few months ago, it’s good to see Sarah staying away from McAmnesty.

Many of us saw Obama coming from miles away. We weren't snookered.
The ignorant masses just happened to win this one, thanks in no small part to a weak and spineless Republican Party that seems to love big government and spending money like sorority girls with daddy's credit card.

Liberals are easily fooled by smooth talking con artists, even if they've been fooled before and swear it won't happen again. This shows in their personal lives, not just in their voting patterns.

That, and an utter inability to foresee even the most obvious of consequences.
I used to tweak them greatly by telling anyone with an 'Impeach Bush' bumpersticker that Cheney would make a fine president!

And that’s what will be hard to overcome. They’ve already “educated” too many people in their socialist schools. And that makes me a defeatist.
