ANARCHY! We are now living in a land where our Government condones illegal activity from the top down. I’m afraid the 2010 elections will have no effect on our country’s demise.

Isn't it already illegal to hire a wet....sorry,can't say that...to hire an “undocumented worker”?

Once Virginia,Pennsylvania and New Jersey pass an Arizona-like “illegals” law New York will have no choice but to do the same. Then the game will change!

The judge must need some yardwork done on the cheap. Can’t go paying citizen wages now, can we?

Screw the judge. These sick liberal judges are the scourge of America.

Oyster Bay is a pretty ritzy town. I wonder where the judge lives.

Looks like this was handled by a Senior Judge HON. DENIS R. HURLEY Secretary:(631) 712-5650 Courtroom Deputy:(631) 712-5652.
No doubt he has lawn, gardening and interior carpentry demolition work available for people with, ahem, irregular documents.
Say that enough and it'll kick Google.com into bringing him to the top of the list of referrals.

Last time I was in Southampton, I was amazed at the dozens of “esquineros” waiting on the main road into town.

For years the day laborers have successfully obtained temporary jobs by standing on local street corners and soliciting work from homeowners, contractors and other employers who pick them up and take them to job sitesYet, for years, ICE can't seem to be able to find them. I say pull up with a truck, load them up for "jobs", then surprise them with deportation. When a few hundred disappear, the rest will get the idea and leave.

Banning day laborers from seeking work in public places does seem problematic on free assembly grounds. If the real purpose is to prevent illegal immigrants from seeking work, the real solution is to enforce our immigration laws.
