What the heck are real Americans roaming around in Sonora for? That makes as much sense as Americans deciding it would be fun to go “hiking” in Iran.

The location those American hikers were caught in Iran is in the same location where James Clavell placed Shah-era CIA bases in Whirlwind. Coincidence? I don't know.
