What American in their right mind would travel to Mexico? What, are Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and North Korea all booked up? Idiots!

That’s precisely the meaning I get from it, despite my trying to think of any other possible meaning. That appears to be a camouflaged helmet he’s wearing, so he’s a Mexican soldier ‘looking for Arizonans’.
Not too friendly at all.

AZ Republic is a stooge for the open borders crowd. They are in decline.

It surely reveals that Arizona’s worry about danger is real and has depth.

What the heck are real Americans roaming around in Sonora for? That makes as much sense as Americans deciding it would be fun to go “hiking” in Iran.
To: Stoat
Maybe they should be calling the Arizona Republic instead.

Thanks for the site. My husband has been asking my parent's what it's like to retire in the P.I. (They live there part of the year.) Their perspective is personal because that is where they were raised, and don't look at it as a “bug out country”, like he and I do, if there is an economic collapse.
I'll pass the link to him, but will dissuade him from acquiring three Filipino wives like the site's author.

The location those American hikers were caught in Iran is in the same location where James Clavell placed Shah-era CIA bases in Whirlwind. Coincidence? I don't know.

Is it time to declare war on illegals? Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that it is against Free Republic rules for me to give you an honest answer to that question....something about 'openly advocating violence' that I recall from the User Agreement. It's been awhile since I looked at that Agreement so forgive me if I'm in error. It's late here and I don't want to spend time looking that up right now.
Hopefully everyone can abide by the rules so that this thread doesn't get pulled :-)
Have a good night and keep your powder dry :-)
