Maybe he opposed Sotomayor because she was a “Latina with a compelling life story”. That’s about all anyone knows about her.

Crist would confirm Karl Marx!

If some level of basic beliefs and principles cannot be reinstilled into the GOP it is hopeless!

Yeah, the guy who gave Juan McCain a big boost during the presidential primaries. Two of a kind as far as I’m concerned, and we don’t need either of them in the Senate that convenes during January of 2011.

That is so right. It looks like it will be impossible to change the GOP into a true constitutional conservative party. I’m about ready to give up on the hope of reforming the GOP in favor of starting over clean with a third party.

The GOP has become the poitical wing of the chamber of commerce. I am in favor of prosperity, I want to see a lot of people getting wealthy, but this go along to get along as long as the bottom line doesn't suffer much, crap, is destroying our liberty.

I seem to remember reading of a discussion some of the founders had regarding allowing the merchant mentality to dominate our politics. Our inalienable rights must not become a commodity traded for profit.
