I agree that she was boxed in by that, which is why I really wish she had said “no thanks” to the VP slot. VP is a no-win job. She should have just given the GOP convention keynote (which was awesome) and then been the rising star. That is the route Obama took in 2004. Now he’s the freakin president.

Endorsing McLame was the classy thing to do. But I think she could have just said, “I will endorse the winner of the primary.”

I don’t think she cares about what they (party bosses) think. However she may be trying to prevent a Goldwater situation where she is marginalized and only achieves a hard core of support that doesn’t amount to anything in the long run. I understand that. I think she just made a mistake with Fiorina and I understand it, the lady has been fighting breast cancer but sympathy is not a reason to go with who is a weak candidate. Carly Fiorina is no Sarah Palin. She would be more of a Kay Baily Hutchinson type which wouldn’t be horrible but hardly the kind of individual we need in the Senate to accomplish true conservative reform. The time for politicians who don’t know who they are or what they stand for until they decide they want a job is over. We need people that understand the constitution and also understand the sovereignty of the citizen.

I suppose that Baumbach has never sought or accepted an endorsement from an out of state politician or figure?

Really? Really?

Or is he just upset that his guy didn't get the nod?

Somehow I doubt that if his guy got the nod from Palin he would reject it as out of state interference.

It would be nice to learn something about this Idaho race, but it looks like the trolls are going to hijack this thread, to bad.

Pity, for sure.

He's a graduate of Brigham Young. I guess that's when he converted from Catholic to Mormon?

If that were true, there would be more than just 2 RINOs on her list of endorsements. Her endorsement list is overwhelmingly conservatives/Tea Party people.

Sarah has demonstrated that she is more than willing to poison the wells of Arizona and California, that is more than enough to demonstrate her lethality so far as the cause of conservatism is concerned.

If you are familiar with the conservative principles of the late Barry Goldwater, ask yourself this question: if HE were alive and well and among us today, would he be supporting that dirtbag-RINO John McCain, or would he be backing J.D. Hayworth?

Limbaugh said it best, 'Palin is a REPUBLICAN', she is conservative when it is politically expedient and relatively low-risk, and it takes no political skill at all to position oneself to the right of 0bama as Sarah has done, because there is nothing to the LEFT of him!

GASP! A Republican!!! NOOOOO!!!!!

By the way, she's one of Rush's favorite people. Guess we should stop listening to him now, too.

RE :”I am not happy with a few of her endorsements and Palin can irritate me by her endorsements that aren’t really a necessity, but an anti-Palin rally seems suspicious to me.

Ditto, Just the dark side of the circus. Can't say I can imagine myself protesting her for a few endorsements I might disagree with. This just shows that they consider her extremely relevant.

Do you need to be reminded AGAIN that she endorsed McCain before Hayworth got in the race? Or that even JD understands and gets why Sarah endorsed McCain?

And once again, I will challenge you to give me the name of a potential 2012 candidate who has NOT endorsed a RINO.

Sarah really burns the arses of some ‘autopilot’ types in the GOP. Works for me.

Yeah, like RNC Chairman Michael Steele, he's really steamed up these days about Sarah's support for his arse.

Exactly.

Vaughn Ward and Raul Labrador both look like solid conservative candidates; Palin endorsed the one she personally likes. Big deal.

Thanks for the input. I didn’t know who Labrador was. He does seem a little flaky on immigration. Frankly both of them appear a bit ambiguous on some positions however I still support Ward.

You can listen to anybody you want to pal, but the fact is Limbaugh correctly identified Sarah Palin as a REPUBLICAN, he did NOT come out and say she was a 'conservative' first. That's what you have to effectively refute.

He left Christianity and became a Mormon before high school graduation, that is why he went to Brigham Young.

That would be too bad, but on the other hand, try not to be so hard on yourself.

I don’t think she cares about what they (party bosses) think.

I think that's a prime tenet in Sarah Palin mythology.
