This sounds like it must be a joke, but apparently, it's not. Infamous White House crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi were stopped in a limo by Secret Service officers near the White House Wednesday night, the Associated Press is reporting. The incident occurred at the same time that President Barack Obama was hosting his second state dinner, this time in honor of Mexico's president.
Reliable Source puts the now certifiably insane Salahis at Kellari Taverna at 17th and K streets NW for dinner last night. As they were apparently leaving the restaurant, their limousine allegedly drove through a red light and signaled to turn into a restricted area, at which point the vehicle was stopped by the Secret Service, according to AP. The limo driver ended up with a ticket for running the light, and the Salahis were allowed to move along.
The Salahis continue to be under investigation for managing to sneak in to Obama's first state dinner, for India's prime minister, last November. It's difficult to comprehend what they must have been thinking when they pulled this stunt last night. Do you suppose Michaele was dressed up in some kind of traditional folklórico ensemble?
They're "undocumented guests".
LOL!
Yes, I heard that on FNC thi sAM.
Pimp my reality show ...
A source familiar with the situation says Michaele Salahi was wearing a white mink coat, while Tareq Salahi was in a suit. Neither the Salahis nor anyone at Half Yard Productions, which is producing the Bravo show The Real Housewives of D.C., could be reached for comment.
Hey, they got one past the goalie once. Why not try again?
My only surprise is that they didn’t get in
At least her outfit looks better than Michelle’s. MO’s outfit was dreadful.
Friends of Obama and his wife since 2005. The least they could do is let them eat in the kitchen.
