I've always asked myself this -- out of the so many peoples on earth, why were the Jews CHOSEN ?

Why not the Chinese, Indians or the Ethiopians for instance?

The distinction Robin makes between Liberals and Marxist radicals is a distinction without any practical difference.

The history going back to the 1920s is the liberals support the communists until this or that atrocity makes it absolutely impossible to defend them anymore. And even then, liberals make excuses or, as happened when the New Left rose in the 1960s from the ashes of Stalinism, support the new, improved radical marxist movement.

"No enemies on the left" is the slogan and that will never change.

If you read the Bible, in the Old Testament, the Lord refers to the Children of Israel as "stiff-necked" and "rebelious".

They were constantly straying from the path and causing problems for themselves by adopting the idols of the neighbors, such as the Golden Calf.

The problem is that now they are continuing to do the same in a nuclear world. I get the distinct impression that too many of them are holocaust-deniers!

I just finished reading an excellent biography of Stalin and the group of Bolsheviks who surrounded him (Stalin, In the Court of the Red Czar). So many that it seemed like half of his closest colleagues and their families, including one of the few to survive the various terrors and purges, Kaganovich, were Jews.

Molotov's wife, Polonia, was Jewish and in spite of her being thrown into the Gulag and only being released after Stalin died she and most of the others died as loyal hard core Stalinists.

I don't know why so many Jews gravitate to the Left, even to the hardest and most brutal of them, but they do.

You can’t be serious, who else would the God of the Jews choose? Would you expect the Jewish holy book to say that the Egyptians were God’s chosen people? Has any other religion unconnected with Judaism ever said that the Jews were God’s chosen?

Do you really believe that the creator of all that is, ever was or ever will be actually chose one little group over all others? I obviously don’t.

Don’t take my questions as somehow anti semitic, I just don’t believe that the creator of the universe selected one group of people as his favorites, or hers either.
