Don’t count on it. Beleive it or not, there are plenty of people in the military both uniformed and civilian, who really like Obama and many more who are fairly apolitical but to whom the idea of overthrowing a sitting President would never fly.

we have to consider how many of them would fire on their fellow citizens if ordered to in order to “suppress a rebellion”, say, in Arizona or Texas.
