Another potentially deadly day in central Oklahoma with the forecast of a severe weather outbreak and the possibility of strong long-track tornadoes. This is centered on Oklahoma City, which saw deadly tornadoes on May 10th.

Just dang! I am so lucky not to live in OK. I hate severe weather. We get our share here in MS but OK has been getting hit day after day and it has to be nerve wracking!

My friend who lives out the NW HWY will be in her tornado shelter... she’s getting pretty cozy in there lately! Just praying there’s no bad weather for her daughter’s wedding in June!

They can’t catch a break.
I heard something about a recent massive hail storm, but didn’t get to catch the whole story. Off to look.

Severe weather usually isn’t that bad. The odds of you actually seeing a tornado are almost nothing.
That said, hail and wind can do a lot of damage and have done so. It’s nothing to sneeze at.
All I’m saying is I would rather risk a tornado than a hurricane or earthquake.

Lots of rain....Typical T & L storm for OK...
I'm in NE OK....
The bad thing for me is...my border collie busted thru a gate...and headed for the hills. She hates T & L...
I've advised my neighbors....but I'm some worried about her..she's never done this before.

It’s actually been a fairly mild spring so far here in DFW (knock wood). It’s almost as if the storms stop right at the Red River.

Keep you head up. Animals can sense impending disaster. Or so they say, whoever the heck “they” are.

Based on this morning's (animated) radar, I would place KS & MO at higher risk than OK. Of course, if new cells pop up, OK may be in for rough times...
Prayers for all the above...

The radar shows a morning MCS moving out of Oklahoma. The outflow boundaries left by these morning storms will act as the mechanism for an explosive situation across central Oklahoma. New cells (supercells) will explode after 2 pm local time.
