Blumenthal should have the courage to resign his office for lieing his Butt off for the last 30 years.

I just hope the voters in Connecticut hold him accountable for his actions and throw his butt out of office come November by voting against him in the race for the Senate.

We are getting rid of One Liar all ready,Chris Dodd.We Damn sure don’t need to replace him with Blumenthal.

The Stolen Valor Act of 2005 (the Act), signed into law by former President George W. Bush on Dec. 20, 2006,[1] is a U.S. law that broadens the provisions of previous U.S. law addressing the unauthorized wear, manufacture, sale or claim (either written or oral) of any military decorations and medals. It is a federal misdemeanor offense, which carries a punishment of imprisonment for no more than 1 year and/or a fine; the scope previously covered only the Medal of Honor.

As much as I'd like to see this SOB nailed, I think they excluded simply lying for John Kerry and Tom Harkin. I think it only covers lying about medals.

Anyone know if he did? I think lying about being in combat missions would infer that you have commendations that you would not. Maybe they can nail his sorry ass anyway.

Has anyone seen a Photo of Blumenthal in uniform? Just wondering if he is sporting a Vietnam Service or Campaign Ribbon.

Oh, “he was just misunderstood”. He was told his plane was going to Vietnam and it landed in Japan. He thought he was in Vietnam and was astonished that he didn’t see any guns. /s

Stolen Valor Act?

Can we go after John F. Kerry with this too? IMO Kerry has stolen more valor than this idiot Blumenthal.

Some of you who live outside the Nutmeg State may be wondering where you heard Blumenthal's name before. On May 30, 2009, Blumenthal was on Glenn Beck where he was ripped for flauting the law when he went after AIG bonuses. Beck said: "You are an insult to George Washington, sir. Washington made it very clear that we are a respecter of laws, not of men. For your own political gain, you decided to go after the AIG people because it is a popular thing."

Howzaboutdat? A Senator wannabe who is a political opportunist with no regard for the law.........the "perfect successor" to Chris Dodd.

THE CROWN PRINCE - THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE LIFE OF DICK BLUMENTHAL
Hartford Courant, Sunday, Oct 3, 2004
By Elizabeth Hamilton, investigative reporter

EXCERPT It requires a good bit of effort to find out how much the Blumenthal's paid for it or, for that matter, what it even looks like. Search the land records in Greenwich Town Hall and you won’t find the Blumenthal name anywhere. >{? The 5,608-square-foot house, with a market value of $2.5 million in 2001, was transferred for $1 and ``other considerations’’ to the ``John and Abigail Trust,’’ named by his wife, Blumenthal said, after the second president and his wife. ``[Cynthia] didn’t want it to be reported that the attorney general bought a house on such and such a street,’’ Blumenthal said, adding that they own their home.

Given Blumenthal’s financial disclosure statement, it would be implausible that they wouldn’t. The statement lists 13 trust funds held in either his wife’s or children’s names, and one blind trust held jointly by him and his wife.

Cynthia Blumenthal is the daughter of Peter Malkin, a Greenwich real estate mogul who heads the investor group that, according to a 2002 disclosure owns other Manhattan properties. Mrs Blumenthal and her children owned partnership interests in 30 real estate ventures, including the Empire State Building, ......that lit up red for Communist China.
