“I did LIE and should be driven from the ranks”.
What a gaping rectum!!
Look up “liar” in the dictionary, and you’ll find a picture of this slimy character. He was spinning so hard at his news conference he should have drilled himself into the floor.
It was disgusting to see him use old Viet Nam vets as props for this charade, showing what little respect he has for them.
What a worthless liar. I hope a real Nam vet punches him in his liar mouth.
John Kerry later claimed that his lies to Congress about participating in and witnessing war crimes in Vietnam were misspoken words from “an angry young man”.
Isn’t the real problem WHY DO DEMOCRATS LIE ???
Wonder if any of them belong to a certain union.
“I Did Misspeak”
There’s alot of that going around, like when Obama said the security of Israel was his highest priority in the Middle East. Shouldn’t our elected officials should be fluent in at least one language? /sarc
When Rush Limbaugh pointed out that some of Code Pink’s “witnesses” to war crimes in Iraq had never been deployed and called them “phony soldiers”, Red Ted Kennedy and other lying bastard Senators took out an ad chastizing him.
To be accurate he said :”MARINE CORPS RESERVES”
He NEVER was in the REGULAR MC.
What about all the deferments?
You mis-spoke and misrepresented your service record for years. Be a man and admit it. Otherwise, get out of politics and let an honest person do the work of the people.
Lying POS.
There is something seriously creepy how he constantly smiles about this.
By the way this Marine does not believe his lame excuse! Those Vets hooting and cheering during his speech should be ashamed of themselves!
What a pathetic show....can you imagine what those vets would have done had he been a republican????
Nobody was impugning his service, except for himself lying about it.
His “apology” is as bad as his lie, because rather than taking responsibility, he is saying that those who pointed out his lie are “impugning his service”.
Did he also lob someone else’s medals over the White Crib fence?
April 30, 1971 - The last U.S. Marine combat units depart Vietnam.
After five deferments since 1965, Blumenthal joined the USMC in April 1970. His chances of going to Vietnam were nil.
Most impersonators did serve in some branch at some time. That's no excuse.
