France has first 'burka rage' incident

The astonishing scene unfolded during a weekend shopping trip after the woman lawyer took offence at the attire of a fellow shopper resulting in argument during which the pair came to blows before being arrested.

It came as racial tensions grow in the country as it prepares to introduce a total ban on burkas and other forms of religious dress which cover the face.

A 26-year-old Muslim convert was walking through the store in Trignac, near Nantes, in the western Loire-Atlantique region, when she overhead the woman lawyer making "snide remarks about her black burka". A police officer close to the case said: "The lawyer said she was not happy seeing a fellow shopper wearing a veil and wanted the ban introduced as soon as possible."

At one point the lawyer, who was out with her daughter, is said to have likened the Muslim woman to Belphegor, a horror demon character well known to French TV viewers. Belphegor is said to haunt the Louvre museum in Paris and frequently covers up his hideous features using a mask.

BRAVO! Let it begin! Reject these 12th century harbingers of doom. Society does not have to- and should not- tolerate that which will kill us and plunge the world into darkness and violence.
And in France, yet!

I saw a full Burka-clad (woman?-could have been anything) at a cross walk in my town last week - very strange - I didn’t stop at the cross walk because I thought it was some sort of funky advertising stunt.

I brought my war-booty Afghani burka into work and freaked everybody out. They are the creepiest things.

As much as I dislike burkas, I don’t know that the lawyer had the right to actually rip it off the woman.

“I don’t know that the lawyer had the right to actually rip it off the woman.”

No, of course he didn’t.

It’s just that when we are forced to put up with more and more insanity, people go out of bounds.

Just in the interest of public safety and to prevent human slavery, there should be laws against head-to-toe covering, with exceptions for medical conditions or weather under a certain degree.

It could be easily enforced, if the political will was there.

The best way to confront Islam is to understand it. This interview with Sam Solomon (Moslem converted to Christian) http://www.whitehorseinn.org/newsletter/october06.htm
Mike: Sam, in Islam, how does a person make it to heaven and avoid hell?

Sam: Well, first of all, Mike, heaven and hell are Christian concepts in Christian/Judeo-Christian understandings. That’s just biblical vocabulary. It does not carry in Islam. Islamic understanding...To them, heaven is a very foreign concept. It is a paradise, not “heaven,” where they will have pleasure. In paradise, according to the Koran, there are rivers of alcohol, rivers of wine, rivers of milk -

Mike: — making up for not having it on earth?

Sam: Yes, because on earth you need to be sober. You need to pray five times a day. But in the drink in paradise, may be not intoxicating...there will be rivers of alcohol, rivers of pure water, rivers of milk, rivers of honey, and they will be flowing. Every kind of meat a man can desire, freshly cooked, everything - fruit of every kind, and of course they will have virgins - absolutely beautiful virgins, and they will always remain virgins; they will always remain pure; and they are there to appease the faithful ones. And these are called hol, and they are specially created for the faithful ones. Added to that, the Koran says, perpetually fresh, young boys - not exceeding the age of 14 at maximum, are there for the enjoyment of the faithful ones. Allah apparently understands an alternative lifestyle. So that is as far as how to “make it,” of course this is all Koranic. In fact, some people, even Muslims, would find it difficult to bear that. But a very famous author and famous preacher in Egypt - he was a graduate of Alazer, the very best and ancient Islamic seminary in the world - he wrote a book on the issue of homosexuality in particularly the boys in paradise. That book was banned by the Egyptian government. He went to the supreme Islamic court, and at the court all the scholars gathered together to examine this book, and they said everything described in that book, in terms of paradise, and how, and what way they will have their sexual relationships, it is all valid as far as they were concerned. This is the highest Islamic authority; it is indisputable, and that is the final word from them. So, there you go. As far as coming back to your question, how does one make it? Even if you repent - because it isn’t covenant theology, because Allah doesn’t make any covenant, he isn’t going to change you. In fact, it is a Koranic verse, “Allah does not change, will not change the condition of a people until they change it themselves with their own souls.” It is a self-effort. It has nothing to do with Allah; Allah doesn’t change a man. He will not touch anybody. Allah hates those unbelievers; he’s not the God of the Christian faith who will seek the lost.

“BRAVO! Let it begin!”
HELLYEAH!! If you’re going to dress like a punching bag, expect to get the crap beaten out of you. Too bad the husband was there to save her from a well earned beating at the hands of the mother-daughter tag team.... although she probably got a well earnt thrashing from the husband for being exposed in public.

That last sentence bothers me, not wearing something to cover your face still means you can hide a bomb belt or did I miss something.

Cool...I hope the lady lawyer got in a few good shots! Islam ought to be outlawed in the west as a matter of self preservation. It’s not a religion. It’s a complete religious, political and judicial system that seeks ALWAYS to supplant and replace whatever system is in place at it’s arrival. Stamp it out!

I was in Paris for like a day and a half in 1998 and saw one of these animals smack the snot out of his old lady in a McDonalds. Nobody even blinked.
