On Friday’s Need to Know show on PBS, during the show’s regular "Next Week’s News" humor segment, as liberal satirist Andrew Borowitz recited four predictions for next week, in two of his items he took shots at the intelligence of prominent conservatives – Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. (Snip) And finally, some news out of Wasilla, Alaska. Sarah Palin will make it official: She has now written more books than she has read. When asked which of her two books is her favorite, Governor Palin will reply, "All of them."

Liberal elites joke about the people they hate - those trying to do what is right - yet they give evil a pass. The truth is, this administration is destroying the nation, and they refuse to look. They would rather ridicule those that really care, while this administration trashes all we hold dear. It must be that juvenile mentality that loves to desecrate anything sacred… like truth, honor and character.
As for Sarah,I buy what she publishes and consider everything she says. She hits them where they live.

They assume this because she has a degree in journalism. Simple stereotyping based on general trends among those trained in that profession.
This is only a prescription for their failure, so keep it up!

I just finished grad school. A classmate was from New York (a thousand miles away) where her mother was a PBS producer. This girl’s entire life had been lived between Manhattan and the Berkshires. It seems like every day of her sojourn in our America showed her something that was foreign and confusing to her.
Correct - the stronger the conservative the more the “stupid” they are. No one called Dole or McCain dumb. They all called Reagan, Bush 1 and Bush 2 numbskulls. It’s self-medication because they know the heartburn that’s coming.
When I was in my twenties, before I understood how the world works and what PBS is, I actually broke down and sent them some money. I’ve regretted it ever since. I sure wish I could get a refund.
Sorry, but Bush 2 was dumb as toast and, although patriotic, very liberal in domestic policy. I wish I had believed a friend of mine sooner who golfed with him back in HS.
Yes, we can blame Clinton for instituting so many policies that would prove so economically disastrous, but Bush promoted and expanded nearly every one of them:
Executive Order 13166, requiring all recipients of federal funds to provide “reasonably” (according to federal bureaucrats) equal access in any language requested, using legal logic that could be applied to private businesses.
A Justice Department run by radicals that Clinton would kill to have been able to get confirmed.
Housing regulations that forced lenders to make sure that they made loans to “language minorities” in equal rates that they made to English-speaking people. Since you must demonstrate English fluency to become a citizen, this meant the loans had to be given to illegal aliens. There is a near 100% correlation between the areas where the housing collapse was the most drastic and the population of illegal aliens.
