Laura, you’ve lost your mind.
Probably have a whole staff of illegals on her groundskeeping crew in Texas.
The Bushes have always been so sanctimonious. They are so self-righteous and sit back and allow the left to attack because they are ‘better people’ right? And they like to say how they don’t want to comment on politics in regards to the new presidents or inject themselves into the debate, yet here they are again putting themselves into speaking against conservatives and conservative policies. Just where is Laura when the peons that served under her husband were getting attacked and threatened for serving and protecting their country? 0bama and the left have been nonstop, but this is her and that family’s cause. They make me sick. My screenname is outdated. I won’t be fooled again. They are part of the problem.
The BUSH are typical confused “compassionate conservatives” always trying to show their FAKE and easy one-way “compassion”(which is quite convenient with a certain business!)
Dear God,
When, when, when will we ever be freed from having to listen to Bushes? Please, make them quietly retire entirely out of the public spotlight.
Thank you Lord,
FB
Typical degenerate christianism of so-called “good sentiments”!
Good sentiments are absolutely NOT LOVE
Time to quote Jesse again...
STAY OUT DA BUSHES!!
LB: Well, not necessarily, I mean I think we have to have immigration laws and that's just a really important part of it. It's just that the debate about immigration laws, about Arizona's law in targeting someone, a group of people, and this is not new in American history. There have been many groups of immigrants who have been targeted over all of our history, the Irish for instance, when a lot of Irish immigrants, including my family, came to the United States [and] other times, and it's just a trace of Nativism that shows up in American history in a lot of different ways.
Why does she say "Well, not necessarily" and then go on to strongly imply that she is unhappy with the Arizona law? What does "that's just a really important part of it" mean here? Important part of what? Why does she say "we have to have immigration laws" and then imply that Arizona's attempt to enforce those laws demonstrates "Nativism"? Why do we "have to" have laws that are not enforced?
She can't even string a few simple sentences together to defend her ridiculous position.
In the immortal words of Dan Quayle, "...what a waste it is to lose one's mind or not to have a mind is being very wasteful."
Hey, Laura: Stay away from microphones and television cameras. Keep your husband away from them, too. Permanently.
Its important to understand why previous generations of immigrants succeeded in America, how they helped the country grow, and how todays immigration differs. The popular image of the 24 million who came during the first great migration, from the 1880s to the 1920s, is that they were Europes tired and poor masses, desperately escaping political or religious persecution and stagnant economies, making their way here with a few threadbare possessions. But whats forgotten is that many were also skilled workers. A 1998 National Academy of Sciences study noted that the immigrant workers of that era generally met or exceeded the skill levels of the native-born population, providing Americas workforce with a powerful boost just when the country was metamorphosing from an agrarian into an industrial economy.
Today, when success in our economy requires ever more skills and education, the vast majority of immigrants arrive without the skills or the education to fit in easily anywhere except at the lowest economic rung. http://www.city-journal.org/html/16_4_immigration_policy.html
From the article-
"Chris Wallace: I have to ask, since you brought it up, are you unhappy with the Arizona Law?
LB: Well, not necessarily, I mean I think we have to have immigration laws and that's just a really important part of it. This pains me to say because Laura is a nice person but: Laura Bush is an idiot.
Please, Laura, don't paint the Irish immigration with the illegal brush. They came here with respect for the law. My Grandparents loved this country because it was ruled by law, not men, like it is today.
So we are finding out now, where Bush’s ill-advised “vigilantes” smear against those who oppose illegal immigration, came from?
Congratulations Mrs. Bush.
You were the reason your husband’s presidency collapsed then?
Did you even bother to read what she said?
Mrs. Bush said she wasn’t unhappy with the law.
Did Mz. Buxh’s Irish ancestors murder good men on their own land?
Now we understand who was crushing the conservative consciences of the BUSH men.........it was Barbara and Laura!!!!
In front of every fighter pilot there is a head wind!!!!!!
she’s really pissing me off .
first she’s for homosexuals and their sick agenda
then killing babies
now against immigration law
what’s the betting she was pushing for old George amnesty
Some of the same people who voted for the current Admin and abide to his every word.
Rhymes with stupid itch.
Ugh... I just want to F’ing vomit whenever I hear a “progressive” RINO say something so completely friggen devoid of intelligence.
Just got to love the “conservative” Bush’s. Now we get to watch Laura Bush rip conservatives a new one everyday.
