PRINCETON -- The borough and the township have agreed to have a May 22 start for advocates for immigrants to issue community identification cards, according to a report in The New York Times.
The report said at least six city governments across the the U.S. endorse or issue photo identification cards to residents who are illegal immigrants. Similar programs are operating in Trenton and Asbury Park.

When you have the taxpayers’ Visa card out and they have no say, it could be time for more than a casual purging at the ballot box.
Is this a joke?
Will 0bama be the first illegal to get this special ID card?
Arizona should give all of its illegals a one-way bus ticket to Princeton.
Well, I guess it will make the illegals easier to identify and deport.
It would be funny if some of these people went to AZ and, during a routine traffic stop demonstrate evidence that they may be illegal aliens, and then when they present these cards, the AZ police say that since those cards are issued to illegal aliens, they are not proof of citizenship.
Q.E.D.
These cities should be sued and boycotted. They are making immigration law usurping federal authority. Where is Eric Holder on these violations of federal immigration law?
Well, how can you cast a vote in the upcoming election without a community ID card? Jeeeeezz...
BINGO! Great use of their own logic. ;)
Why do the illegal aliens need IDs? Isn’t it the sign of a Nazi state to demand IDs for any purpose?
so...if you are in Illegal you are going to go around showing your Official Illegal Immigrant ID Card from the Town of Princeton, NJ?
Are we still channeling The Onion and Monty Python here??
Heck, why not an Official Escaped Sex Offender ID Card from Eephus County?
I'm curious what they plan to actually print on those "identity cards".
"The information on this card is in no way guaranteed to correctly identify it's bearer"
"The bearer of this card is a certified violator of the law. See back of card for applicable statutes, paragraphs."
"The bearer of this card is certified as bearing it"
"This card is good for one-way ticket to anywhere"
Makes no sense either way. Why would you issue it, and who in their right mind would apply for it.
