Princeton agrees to community identification cards for illegal immigrants

PRINCETON -- The borough and the township have agreed to have a May 22 start for advocates for immigrants to issue community identification cards, according to a report in The New York Times.

The report said at least six city governments across the the U.S. endorse or issue photo identification cards to residents who are illegal immigrants. Similar programs are operating in Trenton and Asbury Park.

It would be funny if some of these people went to AZ and, during a routine traffic stop demonstrate evidence that they may be illegal aliens, and then when they present these cards, the AZ police say that since those cards are issued to illegal aliens, they are not proof of citizenship.

I'm curious what they plan to actually print on those "identity cards".

"This card is good for one-way ticket to anywhere"

Makes no sense either way. Why would you issue it, and who in their right mind would apply for it.
