The Democratic nominee for the Texas governors race, Bill White, continues his downward spiral in his campaign against Texas Governor Rick Perry, the Republican nominee. His sparsely-attended political gatherings are showing its effects on opinion polls. According to the Houston Chronicle, a new Rasmussen Reports poll of Texans finds Texas Gov. Rick Perry with enough support to win the election for the first time this year. Former Houston Mayor Bill White in the meantime has lost ground, despite a round of television advertising. Apparently, Mr. White is losing support in his home-base of Houston. The Bill White Houston Political Machine is woefully stumbling with a statewide campaign.

Are "illegal immigrants" a strain on the state budget? Yes, 64 percent; No, 21 percent
Bill White was never anything but a democrat pipe dream!!!
Houston PING
He’s a ‘rat, so his dreams are most likely coming through a pipe.
All he needs to do is to run on a platform parallel to the AZ type illegal immigration bill and he will be in like flint.
I think he has already bad mouthed Arizona over that!
Essentially, so has Gov Goodhair. He doesn’t believe Texas needs a law like the Arizona law, that building the fence would be better.
Then he cannot be saved. Lucky for Texas.
All of them are a bunch of pansy asses, all the polls say the people want the illegals deported. Politicians are worried about their jobs and that’s all.
Two words ... TERM LIMITS!
All politicians regardless of the level of government should be limited to two terms of eight years. Period!
That’s a she wrote.
Then it is back to finding a real job or live off your spouse’s earnings.
Poor White pulled the short straw to run against Perry. His commercials don’t even mention the Democrat party anywhere.
Well that’s good to know! (Actually we already knew it)
The last thing Texas needs is a democrat in the governor’s office, or any other state office for that matter.
Texas presently has the best business environment, almost the best gun laws, a low and declining crime rate and a friendly population (incidentally including a big latin heritage contingent) honest police (except for a couple of democrat leaning cities - we all know which two I’m talking about) and the most straight-arrow highway patrol officers in this or any other nation.
Why in tarnation would Texans seriously consider returning to the days of Queen Ann (Richards) or Dolph Briscoe (the real life model for Charles Durning’s role of governor in “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.” ???
Goodhair is the luckiest politician in the country, he wins every election by default.

...and Perry is either wishy washy or on the wrong side of every one of those!
He sure is but White is wrong-er.
“Goodhair is the luckiest politician in the country, he wins every election by default.”
Not even close. Perry is one of the best at knowing how and what his constituents are thinking.
Texans must choose between bad and worse: the GOP version of Blago, or a Clinton Democrat. Ick.
Good information.....Thanks !
