Good. She was there for the audience's benefit, not the other way around.
My cousin and her husband were at the Leadership Forum event, but I didn't get a chance to ask Barbara what she thought about Sarah Palin's remarks. They also attended the Saturday evening presentation, and we all agreed that Newt Gingrich has interesting things to say, but we don't trust him in office.
The problem with Gingrich is that, like Romney, he is a politician first, ideologue second. That means they will say whatever they think is best to get them elected rather than cite and defend core principles.
We demand a principled ideologue.
Yep. Plus, after the NRA Pres. went stumping with Harry Reid, I’ve lost all respect for them. I’m switching to Gun Owners of America.
Agreed. I think Sarah is getting used to the good life from her job at FOX and her 100K each speeches and now the 2nd book coming on the heels of a smashing success of the first. She doesn't sound like a candidate to me. She likes the influence on the agenda and the public service, but I don't think she has the appropriate fire in her belly for another turn in the national crosshairs of the liberals. That's fine. I'm happy that she is finding a useful niche to fill.
