There was an interesting panel of judges this year as well. NBA star Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets was a judge as were former Miss USA 2006, Tara Conner, and The Food Network’s Paula Deen</p>

Interesting stuff from Schlussel. Even more interesting was that she was able to pen several paragraphs without taking any gratutitous cheap shots at Sarah Palin. I’m sure she’ll correct that oversight with her next column.
