Let's not forget this that he did for our country. He absolutely surprised Osama Bin Laden and his bloody fanatics who were not expecting the kind of retaliation Bush gave them. They thought they were going to get the kind of amoral liberal double-minded leaderless response they got for eight years under Clinton. (Maybe they're still trying to figure out Obama - they don't get that all liberals are pretty much the same - leaderless, weak, and double minded.)
Bush proved what has been said about these homicidal maniac Islamists - they rattle the sword and will use it given the chance, but a show of deadly force and a determined resolve will soon send them fleeing for fear back into their caves.
For all the things Bush screwed up, God bless him for meeting these nut cases with a response that prevented any follow-up attacks until now. Nevertheless, the sleeper cells and porous borders aren’t helping.
