I’ve tried to volunteer to work at the polls, both in California and here in Ohio, but got the old “no Republicans need apply” brushoff.

Although my area is predominantly Republican, we had a few Dems working the polls with us.

On election day, 4 November 2008, I caught one of the Dem poll workers outside at the curb waving an Obama poster around while she was on break. I immediately reported her to the lady running our polling station (a good, fair-minded Republican), and she took the young lady to task in front of everyone.

During the recent gubernatorial primary voting, we Republicans out-voted the local Dems 11 to 1. You should have seen how quiet the Democrat poll worker table was. Hardly anyone was talking to them.

Well, that’s the difference between us. They infiltrate, move in, and exclude us. We keep a few of them around for chuckles. Just watch out for the infiltrators in your own ranks.

As for the low show among Dems in the primary, they’re leaving the election to the multi monster that ACORN became. That monster has the support and protection of the pres_ent and his cabinet.
