Former Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore recalled his own Harvard commencement while addressing University of Tennessee graduates Friday.
"I remember the weather and the feelings of excitement and relief and the parties," Gore said. "I have absolutely no idea who gave the speech at my commencement. None whatsoever."
Gore will be remembered, however, for a 20-minute speech laced with both humor and serious concerns while receiving only the third honorary doctorate given by UT Knoxville.

For years I have known that Al Gore is a mentally unstable man.
I will never forget the account I read of another Senator who reported on Al Gore's strange and bizarre behavior in the Senate. Even as a freshman Senator, he had this incredible need to be admired by his colleagues as an academic "genius", even though he is not very bright.
Gore would sit at a desk in the hallway, where every lobbyist, staffer, reporter, and Senator walking by could see him. Then, Gore would take out a college Physics book and pretend to be engrossed it in, all the while peering up every few seconds to see who around him was noticing.
THAT is the behavior of someone who is deeply disturbed. He is living his fantasy now, getting Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, Nobel Peace Prizes, and Honorary Degrees.

Having attended UT, this makes me sick.
I guess it is a token prize for his having lost Tennessee when he ran for POTUS.
