In his new book on President Obamas first year in office, The Promise, Jonathan Alter includes a quote from the presidents chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, illustrating just how opposed Emanuel was to the presidents push for comprehensive health care reform.

He wont “tolerate” dissension.
I dont want to martyr this asshole
Rahm laying the groundwork for a run at mayor. Needs to distance himself from the backlash while secretly applauding.
If he is seriously against it, then quit and join the GOP cause of repeal.
Let me clarify.
Not me personally.
I think this guy is a kamikaze.
Or ‘I didn’t come here’
I agree, but impeachment and removal would be nice.
I’m hoping that the threat of open rebellion against his policies will cause him to cool his jets, but I doubt it. I believe in my heart of heats that he will be the dictator that our founders hoped and wished wouldn’t happen.
Vaknin. Never a good source.
Barak Obama believes he is the answer to everyone’s problem.
What is incomprehensible to him is that HE is the problem.
I think Obama is the biggest player to ever come down the pike.
He thinks he has us over the barrel, if we stop him he will become a more sympathetic symbol to the Libtards.
At the moment he is losing the libtard followers, so I am scared that this idiot will sacrifice himself.
So who’s driving this guy? Is it his own twisted ego?
Agreed.
I don’t know. Ali Sina cites Vaknin and says about him “Vaknin is a world authority on narcissism. He understands narcissism and describes the inner mind of a narcissist like no other person. When he talks about narcissism everyone listens.” so maybe you won’t like that article either.
Just as bad.
He needs to be neutralized, but has spent his entire campaign setting up a race/class war.
America took it hook line and sinker.
Yeah, I stop at the part where he cites Vaknin. Vaknin is considered a “world authority” because he splatters his name and picture all over the web. Vaknin is an admitted narcissist. When it comes to credibility think Vaknin = Obama.
Remember when America was a melting pot? rather than a seething cauldron?
Divide and conquer, that’s what this SOB understands.
And he is a good soldier.
Several European countries as well as Israel have had noted scientific and political personalities conclude that Obama is indeed a narcissistic psychopath.
Unfortunately, he is supported in the U.S. by a majority of psychopaths. But that's changing - too slowly, but it's changing.
The pacific mask crumbles when the narcissist has become convinced that the very people he purported to speak for, his constituency, his grassroots fans, the prime sources of his narcissistic supply - have turned against him. At first, in a desperate effort to maintain the fiction underlying his chaotic personality, the narcissist strives to explain away the sudden reversal of sentiment. "The people are being duped by (the media, big industry, the military, the elite, etc.)", "they don't really know what they are doing", "following a rude awakening, they will revert to form", etc. When these flimsy attempts to patch a tattered personal mythology fail - the narcissist is injured. Narcissistic injury inevitably leads to narcissistic rage and to a terrifying display of unbridled aggression. The pent-up frustration and hurt translate into devaluation. That which was previously idealized - is now discarded with contempt and hatred.
The people elected him, but who sent him?
But he still has a trump card.
“Whitey made me fail”
What drives me nuts about this is that he was raised as a white “privileged” kid.
He wasn’t “down for the struggle”
Hell! he never had to deal with this white kids struggle.
FUBO!
