I turned my Census form in wit hal lof the information required by the law of the land: “2”.

Our census guy came back by and wanted to ask the missus the rest of the questiosn on the short form. She replied that we had already given a sufficient and truthful answer according to the Constitution. So the census guy asked her again, saying that he was obliged to ask twice. And again she refused. Also told him that we weren’t going to respond so kindly next time.

Now we’ll see what’s next.

I turned in my census with only the required information, nothing extraneous. Got a letter in the mail telling me I was required by law to answer, and a second census form to fill in. I trashed it and am waiting for “them” to come for me. I think the first question on that census form should have been, “Are you an American citizen? If not, discard this form”. Why should non-Americans have input? Don’t you think it suspicious they didn’t ask? I figure it was because Obummer then would not have been able to fill it in!

I don't know the process that they use but I pinged Autumnraine as I think she works for the US Census. I know they make a certain number of attempts, ask the neighbors I believe and finally move on down the road at some point.

What I afraid will happen this time is that they won't get a high enough return of respondents with answers and at thus at some point will begin to make educated guesses. I don't like bureaucrats guessing at the number of representatives being apportioned to the Congress. Conservative areas will lose for sure imo.

Nothing. Your done. They may call on the phone, just refuse to answer. I did. Almost everyone of the people I know put the number only, and it is okay.

I actually put our names on the form. It is public knowledge from the tax roles anyway; and since I started doing genealogy, I see how great it is to be able to find your ancestors in the census...to see where everyone was staying every ten years. I gave the names, ages and race. I want my specific race: AMERICAN to get more representation.
